Intro Classes
NEW TO FENCING?
Try one of our Introductory Classes to see if fencing is for you or your child. We provide the equipment. Browse the descriptions below for an age-appropriate class:
- YOUTH INTRO CLASS (ages 4-7) - kids can join this program at any time; admission is on a rolling basis
Parents and children are welcome to observe the above classes. Lesson price is $25. Please contact office for details. Use Youth Intro Classes Registration form below to sign up for the program - INTRO PACKAGE (Ages 7-15)
IFA's Introductory Program is designed to provide newcomers with the basic foundation of knowledge and skills necessary to participate in the exciting sport of Fencing. The program includes 2 Private lessons and 2 Beginner Level Group Classes.
During the Program, we provide participants with all the necessary equipment.
The Private Lessons consist of 2 intensive 20 minute private sessions with one of our Professional Coaches.
The Group Classes consist of any two 1 hour Beginner Level classes on out schedule.
The Program costs $130; Interested participants may begin the Introductory Program at any time by scheduling a private lesson.
Use Intro Package Registration form below to sign up for the program - ADULT INSTRUCTION (ages 18 and up)
The Adult Class meets on a weeknight. Participants are welcome to stay for extra bouting. We provide the equipment. Class meets Wednesdays 9 PM - 10 PM, admission is on a rolling basis.
Adults may also take introductory private lessons on a weeknight. Please call 516.576.0646 to schedule a lesson.
